Vehicle Donation Program
Esperanza Unida's Auto Repair Training
Center is in need of used cars, trucks, and vans. We
utilize your donated vehicles in the following ways:

Automobiles are used as training tools
for students in our Auto Repair Training Program;

Repaired automobiles are sold to generate financial support for our training
programs; and
-
Repaired Vehicles are provided at a
discounted rate to graduates of our training programs to help them get
to their new jobs or sold to the public at a reasonable rate
How do I donate my vehicle to Esperanza
Unida?
When you call (414) 671-0251 to donate your
vehicle, please have the following information ready:

The Make and Model of the automobile
-
The Year of the automobile
-
The Title Number
-
Lien Information or Lien Release (when applicable)
-
General Information about the Car's Condition
-
How you heard about our program
Do I need to bring my car to Esperanza Unida or can
it be picked up at my house?
We can pick your car up at your home during the day (if
located in the Greater Milwaukee Area) or you can drive it
into our Auto Repair Shop at 1329 W. National Ave.
Can Esperanza Unida estimate the value of my vehicle
for my tax record?
Esperanza Unida cannot estimate the value of your vehicle. The IRS does not accept value estimates determined by the
organization that receives the gift.
How do I determine the value of my vehicle?
You can determine the value of your vehicle in one of
the following ways:
1. Consult the IRS-recognized Blue Book value estimates and Gold Book
estimates for older vehicles.
2. Esperanza Unida can lend you a
copy of the Blue Book or Gold Book that pertains to your car.
3. Request a written estimate from most car dealerships.
4. Visit your local library.
* For donations valued at $5,000 or more, the IRS requires filing of
Form-8283.
